Public art artist, independent curator, lecturer, author of lectures on street art. Yan works with the local specificity of place, so in Vyksa he plans to research the history of the city, its geographical, visual features and then develop an individual project based on the received data.
He uses different media in his work: street art and murals, urban sculpture, phigital-art (AR) and video-mapping, installations and "ephemeral" works.
Yan graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Voronezh State Technical University and is currently a part-time student at BAZA Institute (Moscow). Yan is co-founder of the Voronezh self-organised exhibition space and cultural centre "Daipyat" gallery. He lives and works in Voronezh.
The artist's street works can be found in various Russian cities: Yekaterinburg, Voronezh, Tyumen, Arkhangelsk, Sysert, St Petersburg, Syktyvkar and Teriberka.
