Anna Petrova is a critic, curator, photographer, editor, and compiler of books and catalogues.

Anna graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Philology, and did her post-graduate studies at the same university. She worked at the State Centre for Russian Folklore, the Russian State University of Humanities (RSUH) Centre for Visual Anthropology and Egoist Studies, Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow.

Curator of exhibition projects: "Closer to the Body. Russian Costume in Photographs, Maxim Sher. Origin of Species", "Simple Equality = Internal Modernism" within the framework of the Youth Biennale of Contemporary Art and others. Author of reviews and articles.
