The 9th Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair took place from 18 to 20 September 2021, where the team of the Vyksa art residence presented their projects.
Summing up and telling interesting facts:
Especially for the fair, we have prepared projects of residents and made a catalog of the collection of the art-residence "Vyksa"! The residence catalog tells in detail about all the residents and projects implemented in Vyksa from the founding of the residence to the present day. All funds donated from the catalog went to the OMK-Uchastiye charitable foundation. You can find the catalog in the residence, as well as in the Ex Libris space and the library of the Garage Museum in Moscow.
In addition, as part of the Cosmoscow public program. Talks, an art residence announced the themes of the international conference "The Art and Practice of Hospitality", which will be held in Vyksa from 25 to 28 November 2021, which everyone can listen to online and offline.
We invited our residents, international speakers and conference partners to participate, who shared their experience during the pandemic, the optimal infrastructure of art residences, and whether the projects of residents can be converted into gallery projects. The stand itself was prepared by the Novoye architectural bureau, which reveals the theme of hospitality, as well as presenting a project for the reconstruction of a new building of the art residence.
