Guest curator Alisa Savitskaya will talk about the TOY group’s work, artistic practices and transformation from street art to detailed paintings on paper and canvases.
Alisa is the head of the exhibition department of the Volgo-Vyatka Branch of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (The Arsenal, Nizhny Novgorod), author of a book titled A Brief History of Street Art in Nizhny Novgorod (alongside Artem Filatov) She initiated and co-curated the exhibitions Studies in Optimism (2014), The Museum of Great Expectations (2015), Living Alive (2016), Foolproof Feelings (2017), Gorky. Modernism (2018) and Innovation-2019 (2019).
