The project presents the history of the development of the Soviet public catering system. At the center of the exhibition are installations dedicated to the three pillars of Soviet catering: canteen, café and restaurant. Here you can see interior items and table settings, menus, price lists, books on public catering, photos, video chronicles from the Russian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents - more than 200 exhibits in total. A part of the exhibits are provided by the inhabitants of Vyksa and neighboring towns. Collected in the walls of the former Soviet cafe "Volna", they are intended to remind about an important part of the history of everyday life of our country - the culture of catering.
