Sampling things

When?
August 28, 6:00 pm

Sampling things is an installation where the author visualises his experience of the Vyksa urban environment investigation, especially those that are hidden from the common view.

Existing in plain sight, but not obvious to an outside observer; Opening only to private perception, these spaces mean a lot to some, but are absolutely nothing for others.
The stories, combined with the author's personal impression of Vyksa and his experience of the time spent in a month-long residence, form a single installation in the form of a long leaning table with artifacts - references to the stories heard by the author.

Sampling of things is a name that plays with the consonance of the meanings “choice” and “theft”, focuses on the author's method of work and the namelessness of respondents who share their memories with him.

Entry subject to the rules of attendance, registration by link.
