In Vyksa, Sebastian wants to get to know the city, visit the museum and cultural centers, paying special attention to the natural, social and political environment. The artist is interested in aesthetics and stories that define life in this area, how the psycho-emotional image of the city and its inhabitants was influenced by natural disasters, micro- and macro-catastrophes. The result of this research will be paintings and drawings that tell how Riffo saw our city.
Sebastian Riffo is an artist and explorer based in Santiago, Chile.
Riffo investigates global environmental problems associated with natural disasters, natural disasters and mass deaths, as well as the consequences of human coexistence with nature, its political and social impact on the planet. These aspects are reflected in his painting.
